Every time we’re in town Singapore treats us to something special, but it’s going to be difficult to top the experience that was the DBS Blockchain Hack last weekend, with more than 70 enthusiasts spread over 15 teams and each given 32 hours to find new and innovative use cases for the blockchain.

We recently returned from Singapore where we were invited to present at FOSS Asia, a colossal four day technology event that was spread about between Biopolis, Block71 and the newly launched BASH building. We were one of over 100 international speakers, covering topics on everything from moonbeams, building your own laptops, dev-ops and, thanks to us, a little bit of blockchain technology for good measure.

After monitoring our API performance for the past few weeks and passing the 3 million requests mark, we’re pleased to announce our next batch of API keys are being issued today – and, interestingly enough, we have demand for keys from *every single continent!

Happy New Year Blockstrappers! We spent the majority of December skipping merriness and opting instead to make more improvements to our platform. This included analyzing logs, generating queries, and building-out some basic reporting functionality for our API.

As Blockstrap begins it's full open beta release, we thought it was about time to let you know our progress over the last few weeks, and encourage you to have a look around and kick the tires a bit.

After our soft launch at TechCrunch Disrupt in London last month, we've been busy working on the infrastructure around Blockstrap to get it ready for a more widespread public beta. While most of the work has centered around improving our server architecture and back-end operations, we have also made a number of tweaks and updates to our HTML5 framework, as well as polishing our API calls to meet the standard we have set for ourselves.

Blockstrap is the first project developed by Neuroware.io.

When we received our initial funding of $100,000 from 500 Startups several months ago our original intention was to build a deterministic HTML5 wallet with themes and plugins.

We haven’t done that……yet.
